The Other House South Kensington

We had a lovely stay at The Other House, the hotel is lovely, the room small but comfortable. The room had a coffee machine and small kitchenette which we found useful. The bathroom and shower were very big and clean. The staff were very nice and the Portuguese waiter at breakfast was especially helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna, they were clean and not crowded. The location of the hotel is outstanding with the tube stop just 2 mins away. Brilliant base for visiting central London. All in all a lovely stay and we’d definitely return!

Very well styled hotel with great amenities and an easy location to public transportation and from the airport. We stayed in Club Eaves. It was a nice and quiet stay. Slight cleanliness issues - when removing the throw from the bed, it left dirt particles on top of the sheets. Very comfortable beds but the comforters were way too thick for the summer (would be nice for winter). Pillows were very flat. Wish the air vent location was closer to the bed, the rest of the room was cool but sleeping area was a little too warm. Had an issue with the hair conditioner. The texting option for concierge was nice but to replace the hair conditioner, for example, took a few hours, front desk couldn't assist right away either (ultimately just got a new one overnight outside the door for morning, so at least that was good). Pool, steam room and sauna are a great bonus. Robes are by request unfortunately, but there is a locker room to change. Small details like better light in the bathroom for makeup, an outlet for the hairdryer by the bathroom and robe in the room would be a plus in the future. Kitchenette was great and well stocked. Overall a good stay, and with all of the amenities on site, this would be a great place for longer stays.

This is a luxury five-star hotel and members club, I stayed here when attending a concert recently at the nearby Royal Albert Hall which was only about fifteen minutes walk away - the location is superb. Upon checking in, I received a complimentary upgrade which I was super grateful for, staying in one of the lovely ground floor flats. The room interior was outstanding and I had everything I needed for a lovely stay. I used the pool and spa facilities while I was there which were lovely. The bed was dreamy, but I can't award a full five stars as there must have been a private function taking place at the hotel when I stayed. There was lots of chatter on the corridor outside my room at various points throughout the night including as late as 4am - so my sleep wasn't great at all. Breakfast was delicious, although my coffee and juice arrived well after I'd finished my meal and I had to ask for this a couple of times. Everything else was outstanding though and I'd certainly stay here again.

After a long flight from Sydney, we were so grateful for the seamless early check-in at The Other House. From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel was exceptional. The location is fantastic—just a short stroll from Gloucester Road tube station, making it easy to explore London. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The accommodation itself is stunning, with beautifully designed spaces that feel both luxurious and welcoming. The pool, sauna, and wellness facilities were a perfect retreat, but the highlight for us was the Members Club - a collection of rooms filled with art and curios, cosy fireplaces and lounges - the perfect spot to unwind. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return at the end of the month!

This is where we will always stay when we visit London. We actually extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine in the room (we were celebrating). There was plenty of space to place our belongings and the bed was tall enough to stow our suitcases (very rare). The housekeeping service came and went like silent mice--very impressed with their efficiency. As expected, the amenities were out of this world and the decor of the restaurant/bar areas was very fun. Next time we come, we're bringing an extra suitcase just to buy the OH dinnerware. It's adorable and available for purchase. The neighborhood is also very safe. Although we were only here for a week, I would recommend this to young professionals who need an extended stay.
